There are a lot of reasons to love The Organic Salon — they use hair color without ammonia or recorcinol. They don't carry products that use parabens, sulfates, silicones, or artificial fragrance. They offer services for all people and hair textures. Plus they have the best atmosphere filled with plants and even the occasional shop dog visit!

It was an easy choice to get my own haircuts there (shout out to Lydia!), and an even easier choice as I considered potential partnerships for Luna & Lark. Learning everything I can about clean skin care and cruelty-free beauty was enough of a learning curve, partnering for organic haircare made sense.

Luna & Lark Apothecary supports Kansas City non-profits the Great Plains SPCA and Outreach International in addition to donating a portion of every product sale to sustainability initiatives with Greenspark which supports Plastic Bank, Carbon Pool Project, EarthLungs, American Forests, Mother Trees, SamaÚma, and Coastal Kelp.
